How to install Divx, Xvid & Lame MP3 with the K-lite Codec Pack
In my first video on using VirtualDub, I did not clearly explain how to install the Divx, Xvid and Lame MP3 Codecs. Additionally, I also went to the Lame Mp3 website. This is unnecessary and the Lame MP3 codec can't be downloaded and installed from there anyway. And for that I apologize. Hopefully this clears things up. So, I UNINSTALLED all of the codecs from my system and then went though reinstalling them for everybody to see. Also, you'll want to download the full version of K-lite Codec Pack. www.free-codecs.com And, I didn't mean to sound like a smart-ass around 5:51. Microphones pick up different inflections in my voice than what I intent to sound like.

In this tutorial I show you how to convert mkv files to avi files and I actually talk for once. Here's the link to all the files you'll need: www.sendspace.com You'll need winrar to extract it and here's that: download.cnet.com Just click download now and install and once you've done that right click the stuff to convert mkv to avi file and go down to extract to stuff to conver mkv to avi file and everything will be in that folder. Then just follow my video to convert it. Hope this helps everyone. :) Instructions 1. Install Avisynth, Virtualdub, the Xvid codec and my movie.avs file. 2. Move my movie.avs into same folder as mkv video file. 3. Open it with notepad and change "mymovie.mkv" to the name of the movie file. Ex. "yourmovie.mkv" 4. Open VirtualDub. 5. Drag mymovie.avs file into VirtualDub. 6.Begining of video should be on screen. 7. Go to video, Compression. 8. Choosing Xvid: 1) Select Xvid (If not there re-install and restart VirtualDub). 2) Press configure. 3) Make sure the Target Quantizer is 4.00. 4) Press ok. 9. Check Audio, Full Processing mode. 10. Go to Audio, Compression. 11. Select MPEG Layer-3 and 56kbit/s as the bit rate. 12. Go to File, Save as AVI. 13. Takes time. 14. Close VirtualDub.

Mr. Feather AMV
Hi all this is the new AMV I made. Using the song Mr. Feather from ELLEGARDEN (which is really awesome) I found out that my videos werent working because I forgot to install the Xvid codex after the pc crashed so yeah '-.- Anyhow I used the Anime: Pandora Hearts 1, Natsume Yuujinchou and Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) I dont remember what eps I used of the latter 2. I hopt it is liked. Any constructive criticism is welcome since im nto used to using slower songs. ^w^ I disclaim the images and music used.

sick of just a black screen or fed up with that stupid green screen when you try and make a music video or just tryna do a fan edit well heres How To Get Xvid & DivX videos Into Any Video Editor that never used to open them. requires divX 5 or higher (xvid is actualy optional) cos you can play them with VLC media player (withought xvid installed) watch all of it before any lame questions ps right at the end has an Airwolf vs Stealth tease (realy cheep crap edit) but i was just happy to be able to open BOTH avi's withought having to re-render them Woooo Hooooo :D NOTE: having like 2 to 10 350mb files in your editor can swamp down your graphics memory & make your editor unstable, but we should take this opertunity to exploit this header feature, so heres some sweet tips 1st get ye self something like "Easy Video Splitter" this will trim an AVI to the size you want, frame by frame, it just exports the clip you want At the TIME/SIZE you want (not a re-render) just a cut then a re-index (takes seconds to chop a clip) this clip will be same quality but smaller, as its like 1 min maybe 2 mins long :D 2nd to assure your clips (stock footage) is stable you can also open them in a thing called "DivFix" & strip the index, then re-build the index, this also takes mear seconds, now you have a realy smooth, small AVi that will open & look as crisp as the avi you downloaded

Final Fantasy II part 4- MONSTER IN A BOX
ok so fuck. I wondered why I uploaded part 4 yet part 3 wasn't uploaded. So I tried to watch it in WMP. And it didn't work. So I updated to wmp 11, still nothing. Install a bunch of codecs, a giant fuck you in my face. I try to install xvid codecs, and nothing. Well finally, I downloaded xvid video and everything works. I can record with mpeg and view the videos. turns out part 3 was just me showing the princess the ring. So Show I was at least attempting to play. whatever. Not going to do all the monster in the box battles.
