Cuesta traducir este video. Aunque hagas tu mayor esfuerzo nunca quedas conforme. Por ejemplo en los 48 segundos el canta "tell you i set you apart", casi todos los que traducen esta canción, interpretan como que él tuvo la culpa de que se separaran, sin embargo lo que él le quiere decir a esa persona, es que él la considera aparte de las demás, que está en una categoria distinta, es decir, que es muy especial para él. Más adelante, en el minuto y 12 segundos el canta "comin up tails, heads on a science apart", y es cuando absolutamente nadie logra una traducción certera. Ni siquiera los nativos se atreven a sugerir esas dos líneas. Pero hay algunas cosas claras, tails y heads, se refiere a lanzar una moneda, pero en este caso las dos alternativas resultan malas. Ya sea que salga tails (cruz) o que salga heads (cara), en ningún caso podrán permanecer juntos. Es algo similar a running in circles, en donde van uno detrás del otro sin encontrarse. Tuve que esforzarme al máximo para interpretar esas dos líneas, y creo que no lo logré correctamente, pero la subo igual porque esta canción me gusta demasiado. En fin, más allá de las dificultades para su traducción, los acordes que nos entrega esta canción, penetran hasta lo más profundo de nuestro ser ...... Mi canción favorita de Coldplay, segundo single del álbum "A Rush of Blood to the Head". En 2003, en los MTV Video Music Awards, el video ganó los premios de Mejor Video de un Grupo, Mejor Dirección en un Video y Video ...

I made this for my preteen daughter, who is, since we saw the movie twice, now in love with Spock (though she refuses to watch Zach Quinto in Heroes because she doesn't like him being Sylar) and loves Spock & Uhura as a couple.
